Probably the quickest, easiest, and most universal way to give a last-minute or low-hassle gift to someone is to buy them an instant $50 Amazon gift card that gets delivered to them immediately via email.
I’ve done this when I was in a pinch and didn’t have time to go out shopping for a gift and needed the gift delivered right away with the least amount of hassle possible.
Amazon make this amazingly easy:
- go to the Amazon.com Create Gift Card link
- choose the gift card design - you can either use a simple graphic (like the thank you note you see below), an animated cartoon, or a custom photo, which will show up in your friend’s email.
- Choose a dollar amount - $25, $50, $75, $100 - or a custom amount - obviously I chose a $50 gift card here 😉
- Enter your friend’s email (or whoever this gift card is going to), your name, and a message if you want it to be delivered with the card via email.
- You can choose to deliver it now (instantly, yeah, probably) or on a specific day in the future.
- Checkout - bam!
It may not be the most creative way to send a $50 gift to a friend of family member, but it’s certainly the easiest. And if you go ahead and customize it with a sweet message and maybe even your own photo, it will still feel personalized.
There’s probably no easier way to deliver a last minute gift to a friend with as least hassle as possible than a $50 Amazon gift card. And if you want to follow this up with an email to them suggesting what you would get them for that $50 that might be an even nicer touch - that way they know you’re thinking about them and have spend time considering them.
